IGA (Intergovernmental agreement)
An intergovernmental agreement (IGA) is a contractual arrangement between two or more governmental entities that have the mutual goal of achieving a specific purpose, such as pooling resources or sharing services. By entering into an IGA, governments can better coordinate their activities and leverage their available resources while minimizing any potential duplication. Through this process of cooperation, governments may benefit from cost savings, improved service delivery, and increased efficiency in achieving shared objectives.
