Cloud ERP, or Enterprise Resource Planning, refers to a suite of integrated business management software applications which are hosted in the cloud. By leveraging the cloud, businesses can benefit from increased scalability and cost-efficiency, allowing them to expand their business without having to invest in additional hardware or software. On Premise ERP is traditional ERP which is installed and run on a local server within an organization’s premises. Although this method traditionally has had higher upfront costs associated with it, it is still utilized by many enterprises due to its capacity for customization, control over data storage, and easier integration with other existing systems. Ultimately, both types of ERP have their own strengths and weaknesses, so businesses must assess their individual needs and objectives when deciding which solution will work best for them.
