BOP (Bureau of Procurement)
The Bureau of Procurement (BOP) is an agency within the Department of Administration that oversees the acquisition, management, and disposal of materials and services for Washington State government agencies. BOP is responsible for procuring goods and services efficiently and economically, in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations. This includes soliciting bids or proposals from vendors, negotiating favorable terms and conditions, and performing contract administration duties such as progress payments, change orders, dispute resolution, and contract close-out.
