PG (Procurement Guidelines)
Procurement Guidelines (PG) define the procurement processes and procedures to be followed by an organization. These guidelines are designed to protect the interests of the organization, determine best practices for purchasing decisions, optimize resources and promote accountability and transparency throughout the process. PGs also provide guidance on risk management, quality assurance and selection methods for goods, services and supplies. They help ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as establish ethical standards for all parties involved in the procurement process.
