End-user Licence Agreement
An End-user Licence Agreement, or EULA, is a contract between a software developer and the user of that software. The agreement sets out the terms and conditions under which the user may use the software.
The EULA will usually include details such as the duration of the licence, what rights the user has to the software, and any restrictions on use. For example, some EULAs will restrict how many computers the software can be installed on, or prohibit certain uses of the software (such as reverse engineering).
It is important to read and understand a EULA before using any software, as by using the software you are agreeing to be bound by its terms.
