Contract Provision
A contract provision is a specific clause or condition in a contract. The provisions of a contract define the rights and obligations of the parties to the agreement, as well as the terms and conditions under which the agreement will be performed.
Contract provisions can vary widely in their content and scope, but some common examples include clauses relating to payment, delivery, warranty, confidentiality, and dispute resolution. In order for a contract to be legally binding, all of its provisions must be clear and unambiguous. If any provision is found to be ambiguous or uncertain, it may be interpreted by a court in favour of the party who did not draft the agreement.
