Contract Party
When two or more people agree to enter into a legally binding agreement, they become contract parties. Each party agrees to certain terms and conditions, which are set forth in the contract. The terms of the contract can be anything from the price of goods or services to the length of time the agreement will last.
Contract law is designed to protect the rights of both parties to a contract. If one party breaches the contract, the other party can take legal action to enforce the contract or get damages for breach of contract. In order to win a breach of contract case, the plaintiff must prove that there was a valid contract between the parties, that he or she performed his or her obligations under the contract, and that the other party breached the contract by failing to perform its obligations.
