Purchase Requestion Definition
A purchase requisition is a request to buy goods or services. It is typically created by an employee who needs something for their job, and approved by a manager or supervisor. The requisition is then sent to the purchasing department, which will find vendors and get quotes. Once the quotes are received, the purchasing department will choose the best one and send a purchase order to the vendor.
