Contractual Time Definition
There are four types of time defined in a contract:
1. Specific Dates: This type of time defines specific start and end dates for the project. For example, ‘The Project will begin on March 1, 2020 and end on June 30, 2020.’
2. Duration: This type of time defines the length of time for the project. For example, ‘The Project will last for 3 months.’
3. Milestones: This type of time defines specific milestones that must be met during the project. For example, ‘The Project must be completed within 6 weeks of the date when all materials are received.’
4. Completion: This type of time defines when the project is considered to be completed. For example, ‘The Project will be considered complete when all deliverables have been accepted by the client.’
