Qualitative Measures Definition

Qualitative measures are those that focus on the quality of something, rather than the quantity. In other words, qualitative data is descriptive information (as opposed to statistical information) about certain characteristics of something. It can be used to describe pretty much anything, from people to objects to events.

Qualitative research is often used in the social sciences, as it can provide valuable insights into human behavior that may not be apparent through quantitative methods. However, qualitative methods are not limited to the social sciences; they can be used in any field where a researcher wants to obtain in-depth information about a particular topic.

There are many different ways to collect qualitative data. Some common methods include interviews, focus groups, observations, and document analysis.
