The Agile Manifesto is a set of core values that guide the principles and practices of agile development. It states that “We value individuals and interactions over processes and tools; working software over comprehensive documentation; customer collaboration over contract negotiation; and responding to change over following a plan.” As such, it emphasizes the importance of open communication, rapid development cycles, flexibility, and customer feedback when creating new products or services. While the Agile Manifesto itself is focused on developing software, its core values have since been applied to many other areas of business and beyond.
