Automated Definition

An automated system is one that operates without human intervention. In other words, it is a self-acting system that can run itself with little or no input from people. Automated systems are often used in manufacturing and production settings where machines and robots perform tasks to create products. These systems can also be found in logistics and transportation, as well as in many office environments where they help to manage tasks such as emailing and data entry.
