Operating costs are the expenses associated with running a business. These include any operational costs incurred on a daily basis in order to keep things going such as rental of premises, staff salaries, utility bills, office supplies, marketing and advertising costs, legal fees, insurance premiums, and costs related to operating equipment. All of these costs play a pivotal role in the success of a business and need to be carefully managed in order for it to stay afloat and profitable.
