Business Unit

A business unit is a group of people within a company who share the same purpose or goal. The term can be used to describe various types of groups, such as departments, divisions, teams, and so on.

The term ‘business unit’ is often used interchangeably with ‘department.’ However, there are some key differences between the two concepts. For one, business units are usually smaller than departments. Additionally, business units are typically more focused on a specific task or goal, whereas departments are more general in nature.

There is no single correct way to define a business unit. The important thing is that all members of the group understand what the unit is and what its purpose is.
