Check Routing Symbol

Check Routing Symbol – A unique nine-digit code used to identify the bank and branch where a check is held. It’s an essential piece of information that must be included in order for a check to be processed and cleared through a clearinghouse. This routing symbol can be found at the bottom of your check, next to your account number – so make sure you keep it safe!
