Commencement Date

The contract commencement date is the date on which the contract comes into effect. This date is typically stated in the contract itself. The contract commencement date is important because it is the date on which all of the contract’s terms and conditions come into force. After this date, both parties are legally bound by the contract and must perform their obligations as outlined in its terms.
