Conflict Resolution Definition
Conflict resolution is the process of resolving a dispute or disagreement. Conflict resolution can be achieved through many different means, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Mediation is a process in which two parties attempt to reach an agreement with the help of a neutral third party. Arbitration is a similar process, but the third party makes a binding decision instead of merely helping the parties reach an agreement. Litigation is the process of taking a dispute to court and having a judge or jury resolve the issue.
