Constraint Definition
A constraint is a limit on the degree of freedom of a system. It can be thought of as a condition or limitation that affects the system.
There are four types of constraints:
– Physical constraints: These are limitations on the physical system, such as the amount of space or time available.
– Logical constraints: These are limitations imposed by the structure of the problem or by the rules of the system.
– Environmental constraints: These are limitations imposed by the external environment, such as regulatory requirements.
– Human constraints: These are limitations imposed by humans, such as cognitive biases or limits on knowledge and skills.
