Contract Amend Definition
When two or more parties agree to make changes to a contract, they are said to be amending the contract. The amendment may be as simple as changing the date or adding an additional clause, or it may be a complete rewriting of the original agreement. In order for an amendment to be binding, all parties must agree to the changes and sign the amended contract.
