Corporate Citizenship Behaviour Definition

Corporate citizenship behaviour is defined as the manner in which a corporation conducts itself in relation to society at large. This includes, but is not limited to, such things as environmental stewardship, employee relations, charitable giving and support for the arts. Corporate citizenship behaviour can be either proactive or reactive; that is, it can reflect a company’s proactive commitment to being a good corporate citizen, or it can be in response to specific societal issues or problems.
