Digital Signature Documents

Digital Signature Documents are a secure alternative to traditional paper-based documents. At its most basic, a digital signature document is a document that has been digitally signed – typically by an individual or company – and can be used for the purposes of authentication, authorization, non-repudiation, and more. By utilizing cryptographic protocols such as Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology, digital signatures create a digital identity that provides strong assurances regarding the origin, integrity, and validity of a document’s content. This level of assurance means that digital signature documents are much harder to forge than their paper-based counterparts, and can provide a reliable way to prove who created or signed off on a document.
