Ebitda Calculation

EBITDA, or Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization, is a measure of a company’s financial performance. By excluding certain non-operating expenses such as financing costs and taxes, this business metric provides an accurate picture of how much cash a company actually generates from its operations. In other words, it is a way of measuring a company’s profitability without considering the effects of investments made or debt taken on to finance those investments. EBITDA calculations are widely used by investors, lenders, and analysts when assessing the value of a company.
