Electronic Document Signature

Electronic document signature (EDS) is a process that allows for the secure, electronic transfer of documents between two parties. It offers an alternative to the traditional paper-based approach by allowing digital documents to be signed via an encrypted link and delivered directly to the recipient’s email inbox—eliminating the need for physical signatures and eliminating the potential for lost or stolen documents. EDS allows all stakeholders involved in business transactions, from governments to banks to businesses and individuals, to complete and confirm details of agreements quickly and safely. By digitally signing documents with an electronic signature, organizations are able to save time, increase efficiency, and ensure accuracy throughout their supply chain processes.
