An Electronic Invoice (e-Invoice) is a digital document used to record the sale of goods or services between a buyer and seller. It contains information such as the invoice number, date of transaction, quantity of goods/services purchased, cost of each item, total value of the transaction, and any applicable taxes and/or fees. An e-Invoice also typically includes payment instructions for the buyer, such as preferred payment methods and due dates for remittance. E-Invoicing enables faster, more efficient transactions, resulting in increased automation, enhanced accuracy, improved cash flow, and higher customer satisfaction.
