Incremental Definition
An incremental definition is a type of definition that is created by adding new information to existing information. This process is often used in order to add clarity or detail to a concept that has already been defined. In many cases, an incremental definition will build upon the previous definition in order to provide more comprehensive coverage of the term being defined.
