Inefficient Process

Inefficient processes are those that waste resources, time, or energy. They are often identified as activities that are repeated often but don’t add value to the business or take longer than necessary to complete. These activities can be things like manually entering data into a spreadsheet from another source, sending out emails without automation, or completing repetitive tasks that could be automated. Inefficiency in processes can lead to decreased profitability, wasted resources, poor customer experience, and missed opportunities for growth. Put simply, an inefficient process is a costly process – both financially and otherwise.
