Iso 9001 Definition
Iso 9001 is a quality management system that provides a framework for businesses to follow in order to improve their quality management processes. The standard is based on a number of quality management principles, including customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, continual improvement, and decision making based on evidence. Iso 9001 is not a prescriptive standard, meaning that businesses are free to decide how they will implement the principles in order to best meet their needs. However, the standard does provide guidance on how businesses can go about achieving these objectives.
