Job Satisfaction Definition

Job satisfaction is the extent to which people like (satisfy) their jobs. It is a relatively stable trait that varies from person to person and does not usually change much over time. People who are high in job satisfaction tend to be content with their jobs and feel a sense of accomplishment from them. They also report feeling good about themselves when they are at work and believe that their work makes a positive contribution to society.
