Loan Signing Agent Duties

A Loan Signing Agent is an individual responsible for guiding and assisting a borrower through the signing of a loan document. Loan Signing Agents must possess knowledge of the current state laws governing loan signing and be absolutely accurate in their execution of the paperwork. They are required to ensure that the borrower understands the contents of the documents they are signing, as well as any implications those documents may have. In addition to overseeing the loan application process, Loan Signing Agents must also provide support services, such as notarizing documents, coordinating with lenders, providing status updates, and delivering documents. Ultimately, they must make sure that all processes related to the loan transaction run smoothly and efficiently.
