OCR
OCR stands for Optical Character Recognition. It is the process of converting images of typed, handwritten, or printed text into machine-encoded text. This allows you to search, edit, and repurpose your document without having to manually type out the entire thing. OCR can be performed using software on a computer, or it can be done using a specialized scanner that comes with OCR capabilities built-in.
