Picker

Pickers are a type of worker who select goods from a production line for shipment. They typically work in warehouses and factories.

Pickers use handheld scanners to keep track of the items they collect. The scanners are connected to a computer system that tracks inventory levels. When an item is low, the picker is notified so they can replenish the stock.

Pickers must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time. The job can be physically demanding.
