Program Management Life Cycle

The Program Management Life Cycle (PMLC) is the process by which many organizations approach their projects. This process involves the identification and organization of activities, tasks, and resources to achieve specific goals. The PMLC is designed to ensure that the project is managed in a consistent and repeatable way, regardless of the size or complexity of the project. It also helps to ensure that the resources and tasks are allocated and managed properly, resulting in successful completion of the project. The PMLC is divided into five distinct phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure.
The initiation phase is the starting point of the PMLC. During this phase, the scope of the project is identified and the objectives are established. This phase also involves the selection of stakeholders and the development of the project charter.
The planning phase is the second step of the PMLC.
