Project Management Life Cycles (PMLC) is a term used to describe the complete set of activities that are carried out to manage a project from its conception to its completion. The PMLC process is divided into four distinct phases – initiation, planning, execution, and closure – each of which serves a distinct purpose and is designed to help ensure project success. During the initiation phase, the project’s scope, objectives, and goals are identified, and a preliminary budget is established. The planning phase involves the development of a detailed project plan, including a timeline, resource allocation, and quality assurance procedures. During the execution phase, the actual work of executing the project is carried out, including the development of deliverables, the coordination of activities, and the tracking of progress.
