Redline Legal Document Definition

A redline legal document is a type of document that contains proposed changes to a contract or agreement. The proposed changes are typically marked in red ink so that they can easily be identified. Redlining a document is often done during the negotiation process so that both parties can see what changes have been made and agree to them.
