Supply chain capabilities are the ability of an organization to provide goods or services to customers. The term often refers to a company’s manufacturing capabilities, but it can also include other areas such as customer service, order fulfillment, and logistics.
A company’s supply chain must be able to meet the demands of its customers. To do this, the supply chain must be designed and managed effectively. An effective supply chain will have the following characteristics:

-It is flexible and able to respond quickly to changes in demand.
-It is efficient, using resources in the most cost-effective way possible.
-It has good communication and coordination among all the different parties involved.
