Supply Chain Operations Reference Model (Scor) Definition
The Supply Chain Operations Reference Model (SCOR) is a process reference model developed and endorsed by the Supply Chain Council as the cross-industry, standard diagnostic tool for supply chain management.
The SCOR framework provides a common language and structure that can be used to address business process improvement across the end-to-end supply chain. The model comprises five process levels: Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Return. Each level is further broken down into specific processes and supporting activities.
The goal of the SCOR model is to improve communication between supply chain partners and to provide a roadmap for implementing best practices. The model can be used as a benchmarking tool to assess the performance of an organization’s supply chain against industry standards.
