Termination By Mutual Agreement And Unemployment

Termination By Mutual Agreement (TMA) is a term used when an employer and employee agree to terminate their employment. This type of termination usually occurs after active negotiations between the two parties, and usually requires the signing of a legal document outlining the terms of both parties’ agreement.

Unemployment refers to a situation where an individual is out of work but actively seeking gainful employment. It can be caused by many things including job loss, seasonal job changes, or the end of a contract position. Individuals who are unemployed are generally entitled to receive certain benefits such as unemployment insurance payments.
