Employee Performance Management Systems

An Employee Performance Management System (EPMS) is a comprehensive, data-driven system used to measure and manage employee performance effectively. EPMS allow organizations to define, measure, and track employees’ job performance in order to facilitate achievement of organizational goals. The system typically uses a mix of metrics such as quality, quantity, customer service, cost-effectiveness, innovation, safety, and compliance to evaluate performance against predetermined goals. An effective EPMS should also provide clear insights into how performance can be improved and enable feedback between managers and their staffs in order to promote ongoing professional development.
