KPI’s, or Key Performance Indicators, are the quantifiable measures of success for a given team leader. As an accounts payable team leader, your KPI’s should include measurable objectives related to the overall financial performance of the organization as well as metrics that measure the efficiency and effectiveness of your team’s operations. Examples of key performance indicators within the accounts payable team leader role include: accuracy and timeliness of invoices processed; cost savings achieved on purchases; and compliance with policies around supplier selection and payment processing. It is important to regularly review these metrics in order to understand how your current processes impact the company’s overall financial performance and take appropriate measures to mitigate any risks associated with them.
