Public Contracts Scotland (PCS)
Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) is the Scottish Government’s dedicated e-procurement portal, through which all public sector bodies in Scotland must advertise and award their contracts.
The PCS Definition sets out the minimum requirements for how contracting authorities must use the portal, including advertising all opportunities above a certain threshold, using an electronic messaging system for communication with suppliers, and awarding contracts electronically.
The PCS Definition also contains guidance on how to comply with the EU Public Procurement Directives, as well as other relevant procurement legislation.
