Uig
Uig is defined as an agreement between two or more parties for the procurement of goods and/or services. The term is derived from the Latin uiginti, meaning ‘two hundred.’ Uig contracts are typically used in the construction industry, but can be used in any industry where there is a need for procuring goods and/or services.
In a uig contract, the buyer agrees to purchase a certain amount of goods or services from the seller over a specified period of time. The contract may be for a specific project or for an ongoing relationship. The terms of the contract are typically negotiated between the parties prior to signing.
