A lease agreement month-to-month is a legal contract that grants the tenant(s) rights to occupy and use a property, on a month-by-month basis. The lease may be terminated by either the landlord or the tenant with a thirty-day written notice. Rent and other agreed upon fees must be paid in full each month and failure to pay such fees may result in eviction. It’s important to take note of all the terms of the lease, including but not limited to, what utilities are included and/or excluded, rental duration and any restrictions. By signing this legal document, both parties are legally bound to adhere to its stipulations.
