What is the Sourcing Section Library?

The Sourcing Section Library lets you create, store, and reuse sections across all your sourcing activities. Sections can be informational (internal) or used to collect responses and documents from suppliers.

Can I reuse sections across multiple sourcing events?

Yes. Sections can be reused across any RFP, RFI, or RFQ. You can copy, tweak, and reuse sections without rebuilding them each time.

Do suppliers see internal sections?

Suppliers can view internal sections as guidance, but they cannot respond to them. Only supplier sections require input or document uploads from suppliers.

Can I clone or archive templates?

Yes. Sections can be cloned for minor changes or archived if they are no longer needed. Archived sections can be restored at any time.

What's the difference between internal and supplier sections?

Internal sections provide information to suppliers, such as company background or submission rules, and do not require a response. Supplier sections are completed by suppliers and can include written answers or document uploads.

Can I customize sections for individual sourcing activities?

Yes. You can adjust the wording, order, or selection of sections for each sourcing activity without affecting the original version in the library.

How do I add sections to a sourcing event?

Sections are added during the sourcing setup process using the Sourcing Wizard. You simply select the sections you want from the library and include them in the event.
