Standard Nda Contract Definition

A standard non-disclosure agreement, also known as an NDA or confidentiality agreement, is a contract between two parties in which one party agrees not to disclose certain confidential information to the other party. The confidential information may be anything from a trade secret to sensitive personal information. NDAs are commonly used in business relationships, such as when one company wants to share confidential information with another company or when an employee wants to keep his or her job search a secret from his or her current employer.
