Signature Electronic

Signature Electronic Definition

Signature electronic refers to the process of using a digital signature to sign an electronic document. This type of signature is becoming increasingly common as more and more businesses move away from paper-based processes. A signature electronic document can be any type of electronic file, such as a PDF, Word document, or Excel spreadsheet.

To sign a document electronically, the signer must first generate a digital signature. This can be done using software that is available for free online, or by purchasing a digital signature tool. Once the signature has been generated, it can be added to the document in one of two ways:

The first method is to embed the signature into the document itself. This means that the signature will become part of the file, and anyone who opens the document will be able to see it. The second method is to create a separate file that contains only the signature. This file can then be attached to the document, so that it can be viewed alongside it.

Either way, once the signature has been added to the document, it cannot be changed or removed without invalidating the document. This makes digital signatures a very secure way of signing documents electronically.
