oboloo and Precoro solve different problems, so the better choice depends on what you need to fix. Precoro is a purchasing (procure-to-pay) platform: purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, receipts, invoices and budgets, with plans from $499 a month billed annually. oboloo covers the work before and around the purchase: sourcing (RFQs and RFPs), supplier management, contract management and savings tracking, on a free-forever plan with unlimited users. oboloo does not do purchase orders or invoices. Pick Precoro if you need to control spending and approve invoices; pick oboloo if you need to run quotes, keep supplier contracts and track savings without a software budget. Some teams use both.
Full disclosure: oboloo is our product, free-forever procurement software for SMEs and charities. We checked every Precoro fact below on precoro.com on 16 October 2026 and kept to what its own site says.

Precoro describes itself as an "Agentic Procurement & AP Centralization Platform". Its homepage lists modules for intake, approvals, orders, receipts, invoices, payments, budgets, expenses, suppliers, contracts, catalogs, inventory and reports. It says it is built for mid-sized businesses, particularly those buying across several locations, projects or business units. It states 1,000+ customers and shows ratings of 4.7 on G2 and 4.8 on Capterra.
Its job is to control the buying process. Someone requests an item, the right people approve it, a purchase order goes out, goods are received, and the invoice is matched and paid. If you need purchase orders and invoice approval, Precoro is built for that; oboloo is not.
oboloo covers the decisions about who you buy from and on what terms. All four modules are on the free plan:
Where it fits less well: oboloo does not do purchase requests, purchase orders, invoices or budgets, and it does not draft or redline contracts. If your main problem is controlling spend at the point of purchase, oboloo will not solve it.
If a review site lists "Spend 365" next to Precoro, that is oboloo's old name: Spend 365 is now oboloo.
The pricing page lists no free plan or free trial. At the Core starting price, that is at least $5,988 a year. Cancellation needs 30 days' notice, and the page gives 2 to 8 weeks to go live.
The free-forever plan includes all four modules with unlimited users, no card and no expiry. Optional Plus plans are per user a month, billed annually, each with a 14-day free trial: Contract Plus $10, Savings Plus $20, Sourcing Plus $25 and Supplier Plus $28. Registered charities, non-profits and CICs get 50% off paid plans, forever. Full details are on our pricing page.
Some teams use both as separate systems. A simple way to split the work:
It depends on the problem. For sourcing, supplier contracts and savings on no budget, oboloo is free forever. For purchase orders, approvals and invoices, Precoro is built for that, from $499 a month billed annually.
No. oboloo covers sourcing, supplier management, contract management and savings tracking. Use a purchasing tool such as Precoro, or your accounting system, for POs and invoices.
Its pricing page lists no free plan and no free trial. It offers a personalised demo.

Yes, as separate systems. Run sourcing, contracts and savings in oboloo, and purchase orders and invoices in Precoro.
